Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, utilizing an in-depth review of medical history, patient assessments, and evidence-based practice in formulating treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, encouraging their active participation in the goal-setting process.
• Implement treatment protocols based on clinical assessment and adapt interventions as necessary, demonstrating proficiency across a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to adjust treatment plans according to changing patient conditions, ensuring optimal care progression.
• Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently, maintaining legible daily encounter notes, interim summaries, and discharge evaluations that reflect the patient's journey through care.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations while maintaining an accurate schedule for treatment sessions.
• Engage in marketing initiatives within the community to promote access to care and remove barriers faced by patients seeking rehabilitation services.
• Contribute to departmental objectives by participating in ongoing quality improvement efforts and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster a culture of learning and development by mentoring clinical students and participating in educational workshops.
• Promote patient-centric care by being adaptable and flexible to changing patient needs and scheduling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions such as post-operative rehabilitation from surgeries (e.g., knee and hip replacements), sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Our focus is on providing personalized care to diverse patient populations, ensuring each individual receives tailored interventions based on their specific needs and rehabilitation goals. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is essential for this position.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

• Current CPR certification is mandatory.
