Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, establishing clinical diagnoses, and devising tailored treatment plans that address their specific challenges.

• Delivering individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring that clients receive the help they need in a timely manner.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements, including comprehensive treatment plans and progress notes.

• Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences to collaborate on treatment approaches, share insights, and ensure holistic care for each client.

• Educating clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and strategies to enhance well-being, while advocating for their rights and needs.

• Engaging in professional development by attending training and workshops, staying abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse clientele that includes individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise will be critical in helping clients navigate their unique personal journeys, enhancing their coping skills, and promoting personal growth and resilience.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid and active license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to evaluate complex mental health situations effectively.

• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, preferably within community health or outpatient environments.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build trust and rapport with clients.

• A strong commitment to ethical practice and professional standards in counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is two years of clinical experience, those with additional experience in crisis intervention, group therapy facilitation, or specialized populations (such as at-risk youth or substance use clients) will be viewed favorably. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a sign-on bonus.
