Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing assessments, and determining appropriate treatment recommendations, while documenting relevant findings accurately and thoroughly.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies effectively to patients and their families, ensuring their active involvement in goal-setting and decision-making processes.
• Execute treatment plans with a high degree of skill, modifying techniques as necessary based on each patient's condition and the latest evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care, promptly recognizing and addressing changes in patients' conditions that may necessitate plan adjustments.
• Facilitate comprehensive discharge planning and aftercare follow up, ensuring all documentation, including evaluation reports, therapy notes, and discharge summaries, is completed accurately and on time.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to meet productivity benchmarks while maintaining adherence to a structured schedule.
• Participate in hospital and community marketing initiatives to raise the clinic's profile and outreach efforts.
• Engage in professional development by pursuing continuing education opportunities and mentoring students as a clinical instructor.
• Promote an exceptional customer experience by being adaptable and responsive to patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current valid DPT license in the state of Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, families, and professional colleagues.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to industry standards.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in patient evaluation, treatment plan development, and implementation within a team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate accurate documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
