Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement diverse therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, hands-on therapy, and the use of specialized equipment, to help alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Document treatment procedures, patient progress, and response to therapies with precision to ensure continuity of care and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring ongoing support and effective outcomes throughout the recovery process.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapeutic techniques, assistive devices, and overall wellness strategies to promote self-management and empower independence.
• Participate in professional development by attending workshops and training, thereby enhancing your knowledge and skills in the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals requiring rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or other medical conditions. Our therapy services are designed to support both pediatric and geriatric populations, ensuring a broad spectrum of therapeutic approaches that cater to various physical challenges and health needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida must be obtained prior to employment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients, families, and health team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) software are advantageous.
• A high level of flexibility and a proactive approach to patient care are essential qualities for success.

Preferred Experience
