Full-Time Nurse Practitioner Specializing in Pain Management

This is a full-time, onsite role where you will be integral to the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans for patients experiencing chronic pain. Work Environment

This position is primarily based onsite, providing care in a home care setting. You will work directly with patients to assess their needs and administer treatments. The role typically follows a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a mix of office days and surgical center operations. You may be required to work occasional weekend shifts based on patient emergencies, ensuring that we are always available to meet our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify the causes and severity of their pain.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating pain management methodologies such as medication management, interventional procedures, and alternative therapies.
• Administer a variety of advanced techniques including joint injections, nerve blocks, and lumbar or cervical epidurals, as well as perform procedures such as PRP and stem cell injections.
• Collaborate with physical therapists and mid-level providers for comprehensive patient evaluation and support.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Provide patient education regarding pain management strategies and self-care practices to empower patients in managing their pain.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive medical documentation, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Stay updated on the latest research in pain management to incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients suffering from chronic conditions including lower back pain, osteoarthritis, and knee pain. You will build long-lasting relationships with these patients, providing continuous support through their journey towards improved pain management and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctor’s degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (MD or DO) is required.
• Board certification in Pain Management or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is preferred.
• Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in Texas.
• DEA registration is a must.
• No recent history of malpractice claims.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to patient care are essential.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a pain management or rehabilitation setting is highly favored.
• Fellowship training in Pain Management or a background as a Pain Management Fellowship-trained Anesthesiologist is also a plus.
• Proficiency in conducting advanced procedures like EMGs/NCVs and various interventional therapies.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range between USD 350,000 and 500,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
