Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct remote therapy sessions with clients via secure video platforms, ensuring a comfortable and confidential environment for therapeutic discussions.

• Assess and evaluate clients' mental health needs through active listening and in-depth interviews, forming the basis for individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address specific concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Provide clients with coping strategies, guidance, and practical tools to help them navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

• Document and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) for each client, including session details and treatment outcomes, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, physicians, and support staff, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to each client’s care.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with industry research and incorporating new therapeutic methodologies into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with diverse clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• At least three (3) years of professional experience providing mental health services to a diverse clientele.

• Strong understanding of psychological principles and therapeutic techniques relevant to various disorders and age groups.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with remote therapy delivery, including familiarity with digital platforms and telehealth protocols.

• Additional certifications or licenses, such as DBT, CCTP, or military and trauma-related certifications, are preferred but not mandatory.

• Proven ability to engage effectively with clients facing co-occurring mental health disorders and crisis situations.
