Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of children and families, focusing on strategies to manage behavioral challenges and enhance coping skills.

• Conduct in-home therapy sessions or provide support in our outpatient center, utilizing therapeutic techniques to address issues such as anger management and social skills enhancement.

• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals across disciplines to ensure holistic support for clients.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, to track client progress and facilitate effective care.

• Participate in monthly team meetings to review cases, provide insights, and contribute to team recommendations for ongoing client support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, including children aged 3-20 who face intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role requires a compassionate and adaptable approach to understand the varied backgrounds and needs of each child. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is required.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, particularly from 4-7 PM, with weekend flexibility being a valuable asset.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are necessary for home visitations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
