Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, your role will involve a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Meeting with clients and their caregivers on a regular basis to assess needs, set treatment goals, and provide culturally informed therapeutic interventions.

• Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with community resources, including schools, healthcare providers, and families.
\n
• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create individualized care plans tailored to each client’s specific circumstances and requirements.

• Offering guidance and case planning consultations to team members on clinical and casework matters, ensuring a collaborative approach to client care.
\n
• Accurately documenting mental health progress notes, care plans, and incident reports in a timely manner to support effective treatment strategies.

• Being available for crisis intervention services, including participating in an on-call rotation if applicable, to provide immediate support when necessary.

• Engaging in ongoing individual and group supervision to foster professional growth and best practices.
\n
• Upholding strict confidentiality around client information and organizational operations to ensure trust and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting youth and young adults who may be experiencing a variety of challenges, including emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. Many clients may come from backgrounds of trauma or face situational hardships that require sensitive and effective therapeutic interventions. You will utilize evidence-based practices to empower clients towards recovery and adaptation, ensuring each individual receives personalized and compassionate care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work and current California LCSW licensure are mandatory for this position.

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in mental health settings, particularly working with youth and young adults.

• Proficiency in applying effective assessment, interviewing, and counseling techniques.

• Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and the capability to adapt to dynamic case situations.

• Certification in CPR is required to respond effectively to emergencies.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly those involving crisis intervention and community-based support, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and working with individuals who have faced complex challenges will be considered an asset.
