Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' unique challenges, strengths, and backgrounds, developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, adapted to meet the cultural and individual needs of clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a range of mental health concerns, focusing on resilience, coping strategies, and personal growth.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for each client.

• Provide crisis intervention services in urgent situations, guiding clients and families through mental health emergencies with professionalism and empathy.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, coping mechanisms, and local resources, fostering an understanding and supportive environment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of sessions and treatment plans that comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case conferences and regular team meetings, contributing insights and taking part in continuous cultural competency training to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methods, and cultural competence within therapeutic practices.

• Proven experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy utilizing culturally responsive approaches.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, capable of maintaining composure in challenging situations.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
