This position is fully remote, allowing the successful candidate to provide services from a home office while maintaining a strong connection with the clinical staff and the patients they serve. Our work schedule aligns with standard business hours, operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. This flexibility supports a balanced work-life environment while ensuring our patients receive necessary care when required.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and concerns of children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's developmental stage, emotional needs, and family dynamics.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, employing appropriate methodologies to address diverse mental health issues.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive care and targeted interventions for patients.

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, promoting awareness, understanding, and utilization of available community resources.

• Offer crisis intervention support during emergencies or acute episodes, ensuring immediate and effective responses to critical scenarios.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and clinical advancements in child and adolescent therapy, and integrate these findings into practice.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to uphold high standards of clinical practice and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers on serving children and adolescents who face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will implement therapeutic strategies designed to help young individuals navigate their emotions, develop coping mechanisms, and foster improved interpersonal relationships. By working closely with families, you will support the entire household in creating nurturing environments conducive to healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required, though a Master’s or doctoral degree is preferable to enhance clinical impact.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in delivering mental health services to children and adolescents.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to client interactions.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and an ability to leverage technology for improved patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
