This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to manage your schedule while making a difference in the lives of young people. We encourage a work-life balance, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though occasional evening shifts may be necessary based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments to identify the unique needs of each child or adolescent.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that take into account individual developmental stages, family dynamics, and specific mental health issues.

• Provide evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to effectively address a variety of mental health disorders.

• Offer family therapy sessions that engage parents and caregivers, empowering them to support their children in creating a positive home environment.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive care across all levels.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, managing acute situations with professionalism and care.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health concepts, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their support networks.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records according to legal guidelines, ensuring compliance with all ethical standards.

• Participate actively in clinical team meetings and contribute to case consultations, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary client base consists of children and adolescents who are grappling with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. As a therapist at Tranquil Talk Therapy, you will be instrumental in guiding these young individuals through their struggles, providing the tools and strategies they need to overcome their challenges and thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health issues, along with experience employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a profound understanding of the needs and concerns of young clients.
\n
• Ability to establish a rapport and build trusting relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, fostering relationships with colleagues and external partners.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of direct experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families in an outpatient setting.

• Experience in administering and interpreting psychological assessments.

• Familiarity with community resources and support services available for children and adolescents in the Phoenix area.

Compensation and Benefits\n
