Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals and families to determine their mental health needs and develop tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions according to the established schedule, utilizing evidence-based practices and various therapeutic modalities.

• Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, ensuring that boundaries remain healthy and professional while fostering trust and openness.

• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity in therapy by adapting approaches to meet the diverse backgrounds and needs of patients diagnosed with various DSM disorders.

• Utilize psychosocial assessments to formulate and implement effective treatment plans, continuously evaluating and adapting these plans as necessary.

• Document all interactions, treatment plans, and session outcomes meticulously, in compliance with legal and ethical standards of care.

• Participate actively in weekly treatment planning sessions, presenting patient progress and contributing to collaborative treatment strategies.

• Assist in the development of individualized Discharge Aftercare Plans to ensure continued support and follow-up for patients post-treatment.

• Stay at the forefront of mental health best practices through ongoing professional development, attending workshops, and participating in relevant professional organizations.

• Provide care across diverse age groups including children, transitional age youth, adults, and geriatric patients, recognizing and addressing their specific challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will encounter a wide spectrum of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment difficulties. Qualifications\n

• A valid, unrestricted license in the State of California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT is required.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
