In this full-time, remote position, you will provide essential mental health support to clients across various demographics and backgrounds. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform initial consultations, conducting thorough mental health evaluations and documenting each case carefully from the first meeting through treatment completion.

• Assess the psychological, emotional, and behavioral health of clients, synthesizing these insights into individualized treatment goals.
\n
• Design and implement tailored intervention and recovery strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups that align with best practices in mental health care.
\n
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting a safe and supportive atmosphere conducive to healing and growth.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure clients are on track to meet their goals.

• Collaborate with other professionals in the healthcare field, including physicians, psychiatrists, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Provide follow-up care for clients post-hospitalization, working closely with medical teams to support clients' transitions back to community living.
\n
• Educate and support family members and caregivers, assisting them in navigating mental health challenges related to their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients often seek help for both emotional and behavioral challenges, including addiction and co-occurring disorders. By employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and compassionate care, you will support them in their journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, for case documentation and management.
\n
• In-depth understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and the impacts of various medications prescribed by healthcare providers.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor with a track record of successful client outcomes.
\n
• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and protocols.
\n
• Experience addressing underlying physical health conditions and addiction disorders in therapeutic contexts.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients, offering empathy and support in challenging times.

Compensation and Benefits\n
