Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will possess a broad range of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify the psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of clients.

• Establishing regular communication with supervisors, direct care staff, families, and other stakeholders to discuss individual progress and treatment strategies.

• Providing an organized schedule of appointments and necessary home visits to ensure ongoing client support.
\n
• Coordinating home visits to carry out in-home evaluations, including chart reviews and staff interviews, to better understand client environments.
\n
• Executing program plans with fidelity, assessing effectiveness regularly to adjust to client needs.
\n
• Participating actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss strategies and share insights about collective case progress.
\n
• Documenting client progress consistently through detailed monthly and quarterly reports.
\n
• Facilitating training sessions to ensure all staff are competent and knowledgeable about the implementation of our treatment plans and documentation practices.

• Providing follow-up care through interviews, home visits, and observations that reinforce established treatment goals.
\n
• Maintaining accurate records, ensuring information is accessible to relevant parties.
\n
• Acting as a liaison within the mental health community and the public, promoting goals for community well-being.

• Contributing to the development of training materials aimed at enhancing the treatment programs offered to our individuals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position requires a strong commitment to serving a diverse population that includes both adults and youth facing a range of mental health challenges. The counselor’s role will involve tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of individuals experiencing issues such as family dynamics, substance use, trauma, and other psychological distress. The effective delivery of personalized care is key to fostering positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Hold an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Oregon.

• Exhibit at least two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.

• Demonstrate a strong foundation in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care.

• Maintain comprehensive awareness of legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.

• Display exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.

• Exhibit a collaborative approach, displaying the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Show proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While meeting the basic qualifications is essential, candidates with specialization in areas such as family therapy, trauma care, or substance misuse counseling are highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in using EMR systems effectively will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
