Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients’ mental and emotional health, identifying their needs, concerns, and goals.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, ensuring they align with evidence-based practices.
\n
• Provide individual therapy sessions for a diverse population, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing relationship dynamics.
\n
• Regularly review and update treatment plans in collaboration with clients to reflect their progress and evolving needs.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with organizational policies and legal guidelines.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare providers, sharing insights and strategies to optimize client care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily engage individuals and families from various backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges. You will provide support to children, adolescents, adults, and couples, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment that respects and values the diverse experiences of clients from the San Diego community.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
\n
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals and/or couples.
\n
• Familiarity with a range of mental health methodologies and therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Ability to efficiently complete client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in a timely manner.
\n
• Strong writing and communication skills, along with comfort using electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Expertise in child and adolescent therapy, as well as experience working with adult clients.

• A background in group therapy or family therapy practices.
\n
• Experience with telehealth services and remote therapy delivery methods.

Compensation and Benefits\n
