Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a dedicated caseload, establishing and nurturing positive relationships with clients while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss their progress, address any concerns, and determine appropriate timelines for discharge.

• Develop, implement, and regularly monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and mental health goals.

• Ensure thorough documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, maintaining compliance with best practices.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and create initial therapeutic frameworks.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to a variety of client issues.

• Engage in individual supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to support comprehensive client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Mind Cache Clinic, you will work primarily with a diverse client population, including individuals, families, and children experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will be responsible for providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's situation, fostering a supportive environment conducive to healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• A valid and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.

• Proficiency in using technology, including Microsoft Excel, RMS systems, and digital documentation tools.

• Experience in delivering direct psychotherapy services and performing intake assessments effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting is required, candidates with additional specialized training or certifications in areas such as trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, or family systems therapy will be highly regarded. Experience with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms can also enhance your application.
