Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to address each patient's unique mental health needs.

• Actively participate in case management processes, including transition and discharge planning, ensuring that patients understand their treatment pathways and available community resources.

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services, diagnosing and treating emotional and behavioral issues with evidence-based approaches tailored to individual clients.

• Communicate regularly with medical staff, sharing updates on patient progress, insights into their concerns, and potential issues that may arise during treatment.

• Maintain comprehensive client records with accurate clinical and progress notes in accordance with departmental policies to support treatment continuity and care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at MindShift, you will work with a diverse array of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required; possession of a Master's degree is preferred.

• A valid state license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in an outpatient mental health setting is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Solid understanding of mental health theories, assessment methodologies, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
