Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and maintain meticulous documentation of client cases from initial assessment through treatment conclusion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional well-being using evidence-based assessment tools.
\n
• Develop comprehensive intervention and recovery plans tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups based on their unique needs.
\n
• Conduct engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing and recovery.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress throughout their treatment, conducting regular assessments and adjusting plans as necessary.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals and medical staff to ensure holistic care for a seamless patient experience.
\n
• Follow up with hospital staff regarding clients admitted for psychiatric reasons to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, offering strategies and support to clients and their families.
\n
• Assist family members and primary caregivers in navigating challenges associated with mental and behavioral health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse client base, including individuals facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our focus is on providing inclusive care that respects and acknowledges the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients on their path to recovery and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Experience in mental health counseling with a strong understanding of therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to efficiently manage client documentation and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• Knowledge of the interplay between physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• In-depth understanding of psychotropic medications and their implications for mental health treatment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, with the ability to build rapport and trust.

Compensation and Benefits\n
