Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, to determine their severity and impact on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to establish individualized treatment plans that are reflective of their unique goals, experiences, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring they are tailored to each client's needs.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor client progress closely, documenting and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care, facilitating integrated treatment strategies.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development, training, and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and refine treatment approaches.

• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigmas and ensuring those in need receive appropriate support services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will primarily engage with clients facing various mood disorders, including individuals from vulnerable populations such as those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. You will provide therapeutic support and interventions to empower these clients in their journeys to recovery and emotional stability.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
