Work Environment\n

This position offers you the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a strong commitment to patient-focused care. Our clinic operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some adjustments to accommodate patient scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain an understanding of each patient's trauma history and inform treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and emotional well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy, where you help patients process traumatic experiences, cultivate coping mechanisms, and foster healing relationships with themselves and others.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and care teams to provide comprehensive integrated care, sharing insights and updates to tailor treatment as needed.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring prompt and effective care for patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, providing them with valuable coping tools and resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities that enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve your therapeutic approach and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic experiences. This role requires a profound commitment to understanding the unique experiences of each client, promoting a safe space where healing can occur.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in Tennessee.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate trusting relationships through a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, including their impact on mental health and well-being.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client information accurately and effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to continuing education and professional development in trauma-focused therapies will be given special consideration. Compensation and Benefits\n
