This full-time position is located at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Long Beach, California. The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist will be to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services to patients, facilitating their recovery and helping them regain mobility, strength, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to identify limitations, functional impairments, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques, such as soft tissue mobilization and joint mobilization, to alleviate pain and optimize range of motion.
• Design specific exercise regimens aimed at enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall functionality.
• Maintain meticulous patient documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Provide ongoing guidance and education to patients on maintaining their health, understanding their condition, and following through with prescribed exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population comprises individuals recovering from a variety of conditions, including post-operative orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological disorders. You will work with diverse age groups, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist License in the State of California.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and competence in manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate patients and their families.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in outpatient orthopedic or private practice settings.
• Experience with developing rehabilitation programs for post-operative patients and individuals with chronic pain syndromes.

Compensation and Benefits
