Our facility boasts 5000 square feet of modern, state-of-the-art equipment specifically designed for orthopedic therapy. Our experienced team consists of two talented physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all dedicated to fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite at our expansive rehabilitation center, where you will engage directly with patients and be equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and modalities. Our schedule spans Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while focusing on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to recognize and address the unique objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a patient load, ensuring individualized attention by maintaining an average of one patient per hour.
• Develop and implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions that enhance patients' range of motion and improve mobility.
• Create and monitor detailed treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Encourage a reduction in medication reliance by exploring non-surgical treatment options whenever feasible.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's specific rehabilitation needs.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to deliver high-quality, individualized care to each patient.
• Motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey to maximize their recovery outcomes.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in patients.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain open communication with patients and their families.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia.
• No records of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
