Work Environment

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will work onsite within our Fort Worth clinic, which is designed to provide a comforting atmosphere for children and their families. We uphold a culture of work-life balance, ensuring that our Nurse Practitioners enjoy manageable workloads and flexible schedules, typically from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide direct care to patients, focusing on well-child examinations, routine immunizations, and health screenings.
• Manage the care plan for children facing acute conditions such as asthma, allergies, and common infections, ensuring effective treatment and support for recovery.
• Perform medical procedures including but not limited to injections, immunizations, suture removal, and wound care, enhancing the patient experience by minimizing hospital visits.
• Document patient interactions meticulously, including assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care, to maintain continuity and integrity in medical records.
• Engage with families by providing education on developmental milestones, health maintenance, and chronic disease management, empowering them to make informed health decisions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary discussions, collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the overall organizational goals by meeting productivity standards as set by our Chief Medical Officer and actively involving yourself in staff training and mentorship.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to young adults, which presents a unique set of physical, psychological, and social needs. At Embrace Healing Center, we emphasize a holistic approach that prioritizes preventive care, early intervention, and family engagement to ensure comprehensive health support.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and have completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Hold an advanced degree in nursing, such as a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), along with current RN and NP licensure in the state of Texas.
• Demonstrate a minimum of three years of experience in pediatric healthcare settings, effectively translating theoretical knowledge into practical applications.
• Achieve and maintain relevant certifications from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, or comparable organizations.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required, especially for roles that may involve inpatient settings.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Showcase exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and their families, enhancing their healthcare experience.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a concierge medicine or house call practice is a plus, as this role emphasizes patient-centered care in non-traditional settings.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems will facilitate efficient patient charting and data management.
• Familiarity with quality improvement practices within a healthcare setting is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is highly competitive, with an annual salary ranging from USD 126,000 to 150,000.
