Work Environment\n

This full-time position is remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while being part of an outpatient office model. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs to create tailored counseling strategies.
\n
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and stakeholders, including families and other care team members, to provide consistent updates on client progress.
\n
• Develop and maintain a tentative schedule for client appointments, home visits, and observations to monitor therapeutic advancements.
\n
• Professionalize home visits to assess clients in their environments, ensuring compliance with program guidelines and enhancing service delivery.
\n
• Oversee the effective implementation of individualized treatment plans, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet clients' changing needs.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client care and address any challenges or needs arising in ongoing treatment.
\n
• Document and complete monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect the treatment journey and assist in care coordination.
\n
• Organize and facilitate training for staff members to ensure comprehension of program plans and the proper use of documentation tools.
\n
• Provide follow-up services, including interviews and home visits, to continually support clients post-intervention.
\n
• Act as a community liaison, fostering connections with local mental health resources and enhancing public understanding of mental health initiatives.

• Support the design and implementation of training materials aimed at improving service programs for a diverse client base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including both adults and youth experiencing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will be particularly valuable in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, and trauma-informed care, allowing you to address the unique needs of each individual you support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license issued in the state of Maryland is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.

• A specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly preferred, enhancing the breadth of care provided.

• Demonstrated familiarity with legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice is expected.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with a broad spectrum of clients.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, demonstrating effective teamwork and communication.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies is required for maintaining accurate client records.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training in family systems, addiction counseling, or trauma-focused therapy will be considered a significant asset.

• Experience in child and adolescent counseling is preferred to effectively address youth-specific therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
