Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and teenagers, evaluating their emotional and psychological needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to provide effective interventions addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and fellow therapists to ensure comprehensive care and support tailored to individual patient needs.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, equipping families with coping strategies and resources during emergencies.

• Educate young clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing diverse mental health challenges. You will work closely with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. This role requires an understanding of the unique developmental needs of young individuals, along with the ability to engage effectively with families, creating a supportive network that enhances treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting targeting children and adolescents.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Proficient experience delivering individual and family therapy tailored to the needs of young clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to establish rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in utilizing technology for patient documentation.

• A proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 75,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
