Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role allows flexible work arrangements while maintaining a strong connection with team members and clients. The workweek typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some required flexibility to accommodate patient needs. You will participate in virtual team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development sessions aimed at enhancing trauma-informed practices. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to assess patients' trauma history and determine suitable treatment modalities.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience building, and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address clients’ unique needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe platform for patients to explore their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring prompt and effective response to patient needs.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and relevant resources to support their journeys.

• Document treatment progress and outcomes accurately while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team discussions, and professional development to share best practices and enhance knowledge of trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually refine and adapt treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with trauma-related challenges, including those who have experienced PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By utilizing trauma-informed care principles, you will guide our clients through their healing process, ensuring they feel validated and supported along the way. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, various trauma-informed treatment modalities, and strategies for resilience-building.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and effectively manage crises.

• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

• Collaborative team player capable of working with a multidisciplinary group to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
