Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will operate within a structured yet flexible environment. Our work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility allowed to meet patients’ unique needs. As a remote therapist, you will utilize teletherapy platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring that clients receive the support they need from their own safe spaces while you maintain the ability to balance professional responsibilities with personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs, challenges, and unique cultural backgrounds, leading to tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other modalities that align with each client’s needs.

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions aimed at fostering resilience, coping strategies, and overall mental wellness.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques and support.

• Educate patients and their families about various mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in alignment with ethical guidelines and legal requirements, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW within the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in culturally competent care and a strong understanding of various mental health disorders, combined with the ability to implement effective, evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy through a culturally responsive lens.

• Demonstrated crisis intervention abilities and composure in high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
