Work Environment\n

This full-time position operates Monday through Friday in a remote setting, with the flexibility to maintain a 40-hour work week that fits your schedule. While you will work independently as an Independent Contractor, you will also be part of a collaborative network of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care, ensuring that support structures are in place for both employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of senior clients to understand their psychological, emotional, and social needs.

• Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies, tailoring your approach to each client's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate individual counseling and psychotherapy sessions, offering support while fostering a trusting and therapeutic relationship.

• Research external resources and make referrals to ensure clients receive the best possible support within the community.

• Document all client interactions and interventions in compliance with regulations and standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Maintain open communication with healthcare providers and caregivers to coordinate efforts and optimize client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on senior clients dealing with various psychosocial issues related to end-of-life care, chronic illness, and emotional distress. Your expertise will play a critical role in supporting both clients and their families during one of the most sensitive and significant times of their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• Proven ability to operate in a self-directed manner and adapt to a fast-paced working environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
