Work Environment

Our outpatient office setting is designed to facilitate healing and recovery, providing a warm and welcoming environment for patients. You will work closely with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, utilizing modern equipment and evidence-based therapeutic practices to support patients in their rehabilitation journey. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' movement and functionality to identify their specific needs and goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient, incorporating a variety of treatment modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Guide and motivate patients through their rehabilitation process, ensuring they understand their treatment objectives and feel empowered to reach them.
• Monitor progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maintain alignment with evolving patient needs and recovery goals.
• Collaborate with other health professionals, fostering effective communication regarding patient care and contributing to multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques and strategies to improve lifestyle choices, emphasizing the importance of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal health. Your objective will be to restore function and enhance quality of life for individuals seeking to return to their personal best, whether that means returning to sports, work, or daily activities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist is mandatory, demonstrating your qualification to practice in New Jersey.
• Strong background in orthopedics, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience treating patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
• Proven expertise in patient assessments, treatment planning, and delivering individualized patient care.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information effectively to patients and healthcare colleagues.
• Ability to adapt your approach to accommodate diverse patient personalities, ensuring a supportive and positive treatment environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with evidence-based practice and techniques that contribute to enhanced patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
