Oro Valle Motion Physical Therapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in San Diego, California. This is a full-time position focused on delivering exceptional outpatient orthopedic care to our patients in the comfort of their homes. We pride ourselves on our holistic approach to physical therapy, utilizing advanced techniques to optimize patient care and recovery outcomes. Our team consists of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working collaboratively to deliver high-quality services in a friendly and supportive environment.

Work Environment

This position offers a unique opportunity to work onsite with patients in their homes, providing personalized care and intervention strategies tailored to individual needs. Our clinic is equipped with the latest technology and resources to facilitate effective treatments, ensuring that every therapist has the means to deliver the highest standard of care. The work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced approach to professional and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist with us, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify the objectives and requirements of each patient in their home care setting.
• Efficiently managing a patient workload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and quality treatment sessions.
• Designing and implementing comprehensive care plans utilizing diverse treatment techniques tailored to the specific needs of patients.
• Delivering evidence-based care while inspiring and motivating patients throughout their treatment courses.
• Minimizing reliance on medications by providing alternative rehabilitation methods to help avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, maintaining open lines of communication for ongoing adjustments to treatment plans.
• Promoting wellness and healthy lifestyle choices through individualized fitness and wellness programs.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize overall patient care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on outpatient orthopedic patients, helping individuals recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that impact their functionality and quality of life. We serve a diverse client base, including athletes needing rehabilitation to return to competition, seniors seeking to maintain their independence, and adults recovering from various physical impairments. Our goal is to enhance the mobility and comfort of each patient to foster their overall well-being.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Physical Therapist certification in the state of California.
• Impeccable record with no board actions or disciplinary measures taken against the license.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and methodologies.
• Proficiency in developing and conducting targeted exercise regimens.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will have an advantage:

• Previous work as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated success in patient outcomes through personalized care approaches.
• Experience in a home care environment, aiding in the transition of care from clinical settings to home-based recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
