Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing various diagnostic tools and interviews to inform individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to ensure effective outcomes.

• Provide trauma-informed care for clients dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), cultivating a safe space for healing and recovery.
\n
• Manage case load efficiently, coordinating additional services and resources for clients, and maintaining effective communication with external providers as necessary.

• Document client progress meticulously in accordance with ICD-9 standards, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams to enhance the overall quality of care provided, ensuring a well-rounded therapeutic experience for clients.

• Engage in child-family counseling, addressing relational dynamics and enhancing communication strategies to foster healthier family interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is primarily on individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma-related conditions. We serve a diverse clientele, with particular emphasis on creating equitable access to care for underrepresented populations. Your role will be critical in developing tailored strategies that are sensitive to the unique backgrounds and needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in California.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on marriage and family therapy.
\n
• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.

• Proven ability to handle crisis situations effectively and compassionately, employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.

• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines, confidentiality protocols (including HIPAA) and cultural competency in therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in relevant fields, such as psychology or counseling, is highly desirable.

• At least one year of experience specifically working with children, couples, or families is preferred.

• Experience with diverse client populations and a willingness to adapt therapeutic approaches based on individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
