Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your daily tasks will include:

• Managing an active caseload of clients, ensuring ethical frameworks and professional boundaries are maintained at all times.

• Conducting regular check-ins and assessments to evaluate client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge when appropriate.

• Collaboratively developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.

• Documenting client interactions and treatment updates thoroughly to maintain comprehensive records, including progress notes and intake assessments.

• Facilitating a designated number of individual counseling sessions each week, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions for ongoing professional development and feedback.
\n
• Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide holistic support for clients.

• Embracing a growth-oriented and reflective practice, continually assessing your methods and striving for improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents, dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will also have the opportunity to work with families and guardians to enhance support systems and implement therapeutic interventions that foster lasting positive change.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in mental health or a related field is required.

• A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.

• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements specific to clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals facing substance abuse challenges.

• Proficient in conducting assessments, diagnostics, and individual and group therapy sessions.

• Strong computer skills, including basic keyboarding abilities and familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Additional experience in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is advantageous. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices in remote counseling settings will enhance your efficacy in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer:
