Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to develop tailored treatment plans for each client, ensuring that interventions align with their unique needs and goals.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation that is accurate, thorough, and up-to-date, including treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and incident reports.

• Facilitate and lead various therapy groups that encourage participation, foster peer support, and empower clients to share and learn from one another.

• Engage with clients and their families during individual counseling sessions, providing psychoeducation and vital support in navigating mental health challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with local agencies and organizations to enhance access to community resources, advocating for clients' social service needs effectively.
\n
• Participate actively in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to share insights, strategies, and developments in our field.
\n
• Work closely with interns and volunteers, guiding their contributions to enhance client services and community outreach.
\n
• Establish and maintain connections with potential referral sources, including inpatient facilities and outpatient programs, to ensure seamless intake processes for new clients.
\n
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards, consistently adhering to the regulations set forth by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
\n
• Assist with psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and implementation under clinical supervision, ensuring holistic approaches to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Young Harmony Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client base, including adults, adolescents, and families, many of whom may face significant mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and perinatal mental health issues. Your work will directly impact their quality of life, providing them with tools and support necessary for recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.

• Current licensure in Washington State as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) is mandatory.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. with no history of medical malpractice claims.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain client records and documentation accurately.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a community health setting is desirable.

• Familiarity with JCAHO and Medicaid standards may be beneficial.
