Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting therapy sessions with couples, and offering individual sessions to each member as needed.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of families dealing with various issues such as alcohol abuse, grief, loss, job stress, and family conflicts.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address psychological and emotional issues affecting family dynamics.

• Engaging in continuous collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to enhance treatment efficacy and patient care outcomes.

• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will have a direct impact on a wide range of client issues, including but not limited to:

• Grief and bereavement counseling.
\n
• Conflict mediation between family members, including siblings and parents.

• Supporting individuals through adjustments related to separation and divorce.

• Facilitating effective communication strategies among family members.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly working with couples and families.
