Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and disabilities to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at optimizing recovery.
• Implement and administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring appropriate adjustments are made based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions, including progress notes and charge submissions in accordance with state regulations and facility standards.
• Deliver consultation and communicate effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, and support staff about patient care and progress.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, such as physical therapist assistants (PTAs) and aides, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment effectiveness, and collaborate on best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending training sessions, in-services, and conferences to stay current with industry standards and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (mandatory); advanced education is a plus.

Preferred Experience
