Our collaborative approach emphasizes the well-being of our clients, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a close-knit team of committed professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA).

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our contemporary outpatient office located in El Cajon, California. The work environment is dynamic and vibrant, fostering a strong team spirit while ensuring each therapist can effectively cater to their patient load. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing ample opportunity to engage with clients and participate in a supportive atmosphere focused on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and set realistic rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a scheduled patient load of two individuals per hour, effectively balancing quality of care with productivity.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans using a variety of orthopedic techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Administer high-quality therapies that promote healing, increase range of motion, and enhance mobility.
• Advocate for non-pharmacological interventions, minimizing the reliance on medication and offering surgical alternatives.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they feel empowered and engaged in their treatment.
• Engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration to optimize patient evaluations and treatment outcomes.
• Document and track patient progress accurately, utilizing EMR software like WebPT for record-keeping.
• Foster a proactive lifestyle for clients, improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through personalized fitness and wellness programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who possess private medical insurance, catering to adult patients seeking to recover from orthopedic injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic pain issues. Our team understands the unique challenges faced by this population and we are committed to offering innovative solutions to help them regain their functionality and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active and valid physical therapist license in the state of California.
• A clean record with no board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Demonstrated experience with electronic medical record software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Previous experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 - 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
