In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding patients on their rehabilitation journey, helping them restore movement and achieve their fullest physical potential. You will work closely with clients to enhance their quality of life by focusing on personalized treatment plans that cover promotion, prevention, diagnosis, intervention, and rehabilitation.

Work Environment

Our clinic operates primarily onsite, providing an engaging work environment that encourages teamwork among two experienced physical therapists, a physical therapist assistant (PTA), and additional support staff. You will be expected to maintain a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring that each patient receives focused, uninterrupted treatment during their sessions. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies, including advanced modalities and tools necessary for modern physical therapy practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to establish individualized treatment goals.
• Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans that consider each patient's unique needs and circumstances.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour to ensure high-quality, personalized care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities, to promote recovery.
• Educate patients on exercises and techniques to facilitate recovery and improve their overall functionality.
• Measure and document treatment progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Advocate for lifestyle modifications to enhance patients' health, emphasizing the importance of balance, strength, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Many of our clients are motivated individuals seeking to regain physical functionality; thus, your role will involve instilling confidence and encouraging adherence to rehabilitation protocols to foster independence and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• An active California Physical Therapist license without any disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Strong understanding of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, including athletes and individuals with varying physical capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
