Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients, collecting pertinent medical histories, performing physical assessments, and determining functional limitations.
• Create tailored treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment goals, home exercise programs, and strategies to enhance recovery and avoid injury.
• Monitor and document patients' progress using electronic health records (EHR), adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to strategize patient care and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to design effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced staff and new hires in physical therapy practices and philosophies.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at our clinic primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and strength. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse cases, ranging from post-operative patients to athletes aiming to return to their sport. Additionally, you will implement specialized rehabilitation approaches for elderly individuals to enhance mobility and prevent falls.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of California.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and knowledge of weight training and physiotherapeutic modalities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth practices.
• Previous work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on achieving collaborative health goals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits packages including health, dental, and vision insurance.
