Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will operate from our fully-equipped rehabilitation center in San Diego, where a team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant work collaboratively to provide exceptional care to patients. Our clinic promotes a team-oriented culture that emphasizes quality care and consistent communication. The regular work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's unique goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Provide treatment plans tailored to optimize recovery, enabling patients to regain mobility efficiently.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and manual techniques to enhance mobility and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other health professionals, to support comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, body mechanics, and healthy lifestyle choices to promote long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic conditions who seek to restore movement and functionality. We welcome a diverse clientele, ranging from athletes needing rehabilitative care to individuals recovering from surgeries or injuries. The ideal Physical Therapist will understand the nuances of orthopedic therapy and be committed to promoting patient autonomy through quality care.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• No history of disciplinary actions related to licensure.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise interventions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist, with a focus on orthopedic outpatient care.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized care plans effectively.
• Experience with patient education and lifestyle counseling in rehabilitation settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience.
