This role is exclusively remote, providing flexibility in scheduling while promoting a healthy work-life balance. Clinicians are empowered to set their own caseloads, which can range from 10 to 30 billable hours per week, depending on personal preferences and capacity. Our infrastructure supports telehealth services, while opportunities for group consultations, both in-person and online, foster a sense of community and ongoing learning among our staff.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and deliver short-term psychotherapy for various mental health challenges, utilizing approaches such as case management, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic intervention.

• Provide therapeutic services including crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, supportive therapy, couples counseling, addictions counseling, and family therapy.
\n
• Work collaboratively under the supervision of licensed psychologists, nurse practitioners, or physicians to ensure a high standard of clinical care and adherence to regulations.
\n
• Employ a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to individual, family, couples, and group therapy needs.
\n
• Assess treatment and prevention strategies for mental disorders while providing resources and support for patients with mental health and dual-diagnosis disorders.
\n
• Engage in clinical consultations with interdisciplinary team members to enhance treatment planning and decision-making processes.
\n
• Maintain meticulous records of therapy sessions, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with social agencies and healthcare providers to support patient care.

• Participate in departmental planning, quality management activities, and clinical team meetings to promote continuous improvement of services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT with Psychiatric Recovery House, Inc., you will primarily work with individuals, couples, and families grappling with a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and dual-diagnosis disorders. Your role will play a crucial part in developing tailored interventions aimed at improving mental wellness and fostering resilience within the community.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid LMFT licensure or a Psy.D to practice in New York state.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution is required.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing psychotherapy services, particularly in a clinical setting.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records is essential.

• Prior experience in a community health setting or integrated healthcare environment will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits\n
