Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide short-term psychotherapy to a diverse range of clients, utilizing techniques that include case management, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic interventions.

• Deliver therapeutic services through various modalities such as individual therapy, family therapy, couples counseling, and group therapy for mental health and dual disorders.

• Administer crisis intervention and engage in supportive therapy tailored to clients’ acute needs by developing effective treatment plans.

• Utilize the latest DSM for accurate diagnoses and collaborate with psychiatrists and psychologists, as required, to determine the appropriate level of care.

• Maintain thorough client documentation, prepare reports, and coordinate communication with relevant social agencies and healthcare professionals under client permissions.

• Participate in clinical team meetings and contribute to departmental planning and quality management efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse client population, addressing mental health issues ranging from anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges to substance use disorders and other dual diagnoses. Our clients benefit from timely access to mental health services through our telehealth platform, ensuring that their needs are met effectively and compassionately.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or a Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D) in the state of New York.

• A master's or doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of two years of experience delivering psychotherapy.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
