Peace and Purpose Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide remote mental health services through telehealth. This role is dedicated to delivering specialized care to individuals impacted by trauma, particularly those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, offering the flexibility to provide care from the comfort of your own home while maintaining vital connection with clients and colleagues. Our structured schedule aligns with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to meet patient needs. The remote nature of this role allows you to balance work responsibilities with personal commitments effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and develop customized treatment strategies.

• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans that focus on facilitating trauma recovery and fostering resilience in patients.

• Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions, emphasizing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma experiences and developing effective coping strategies.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated treatment approach.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and immediate assistance when needed.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed care.

• Continuously review and stay updated on emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who have been impacted by traumatic experiences, with a specific focus on those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role in providing specialized mental health care is critical in helping these individuals navigate their healing journeys, regain a sense of safety, and build resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A completed Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proven expertise in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor when interacting with patients.

• Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit capable of working successfully within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and involvement with crisis intervention is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with evidence-based practices specific to trauma care showcases your commitment to excellence in mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
