Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work within a dynamic outpatient psychiatry office setting. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the unique needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally informed mental health assessments to gain a nuanced understanding of each patient’s unique experiences and challenges, thereby developing personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to design interventions tailored specifically to the individual cultural backgrounds and needs of patients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health issues and fostering resilience in patients.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated and holistic care for patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to stabilize situations and ensure patient safety.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and local community resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal, ethical, and clinic standards.

• Engage actively in team discussions, case conferences, and professional development activities such as cultural competency training sessions.

• Stay current on research developments, best practices, and novel cultural insights in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a commitment to culturally competent therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated experience delivering individualized and group therapy within a culturally responsive framework.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills along with the ability to maintain composure during challenging situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with a diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
