Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental care to clients with varying mental health challenges.

• Diagnosing and managing mental health conditions, tailoring your therapeutic approach to align with each patient's unique preferences and needs.

• Conducting diagnostic assessments and planning intervention strategies that may include counseling, psychotherapy sessions, and behavioral modification techniques.

• Implementing a variety of psychotherapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy to accommodate diverse client backgrounds.

• Utilizing data-driven approaches to assess treatment effectiveness continuously and adjusting clinical strategies as necessary for optimal outcomes.

• Engaging in crisis management when necessary, supporting clients through acute distress, and determining appropriate interventions.

• Documenting sessions accurately using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system while complying with confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a remarkably diverse patient population with a broad spectrum of mental health disorders, including Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma-related issues, and grief. You will work collaboratively with individuals from varying socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that all treatments respect their unique perspectives and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• A valid social work license in accordance with Washington State regulations (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW).

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Authorized to work in the U.S. with a strong command of interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive client relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

Successful candidates will be knowledgeable in a wide array of psychotherapy modalities and have substantial experience treating mental health diagnosis ranging from anxiety disorders to PTSD. Experience in using EMR and remote communication technologies is also preferred.
