We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at Pro Wellness and Mental Health Clinic. This full-time, remote position allows you to work flexibly in a community health clinic setting, providing vital support to children and their families dealing with developmental and intellectual challenges. Work Environment\n

In this remote position, you will have the flexibility to deliver in-home therapy sessions or conduct group sessions using telehealth technology. Our clinic supports a collaborative approach where therapists actively communicate and engage with each other, as well as with multidisciplinary teams, to ensure the highest standard of care is provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual in-home therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each child, ensuring that interventions align with best practices in mental health treatment.

• Deliver effective group therapy sessions in our outpatient center, focusing on developing crucial life skills among participants.
\n
• Implement programs for anger management, coping strategies, and social skills development while addressing high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) and physical aggression.
\n
• Work collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to create and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in monthly professional development meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on children and teens aged 3-20 who are facing the challenges of developmental and intellectual disabilities. In this role, you will engage with a diverse group of families, providing specialized therapy that supports both the children’s growth and the caregivers’ ability to manage daily challenges associated with these disabilities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license to practice in Pennsylvania.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to client homes when necessary.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is mandatory.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience focused on providing positive behavior support.
\n
• Proven experience working with children and teenagers with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is highly desirable.
