Work Environment\n

We operate under a flexible remote work model, which empowers our therapists to engage with families through in-home therapy sessions or at our outpatient center. While the majority of your work can be conducted remotely, you may also travel within the state of Nevada to visit clients in their homes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of children with developmental disabilities, either in-home or at our outpatient location.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at improving social skills, coping mechanisms, and anger management techniques.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure all required documentation (such as intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans) is completed promptly and accurately.

• Engage in regular communication with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to coordinate care and contribute to a comprehensive support network for clients.
\n
• Attend monthly team meetings to discuss case progress, share insights, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on working closely with children aged 3-20 who have developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will provide therapeutic interventions that address behavioral challenges, improve decision-making skills, and promote positive social interactions among family members. Your work will significantly impact the well-being and development of these youth, helping them navigate their unique challenges and fostering a supportive home environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 PM), with some flexibility for weekends as needed.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing positive behavior support within therapeutic settings.
\n
• Prior work with children facing intellectual or developmental disabilities, demonstrating an understanding of the complexities involved.

• Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish or Portuguese are highly encouraged to apply, as this skill set will enhance communication with families.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for client visits.

Compensation and Benefits\n
