Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique needs.

• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs and goals identified during assessments.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring timely completion to uphold organizational standards.

• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness strategies to support patient stability and ongoing mental health functionality.

• Create effective discharge plans that continue to support clients post-therapy, facilitating seamless transitions to ongoing care as needed.

• Adhere rigorously to all local and federal laws, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies, ensuring best practices are followed.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education, remaining updated on best practices in mental health therapy.

• Participate regularly in case consultations and agency meetings to foster a collaborative care approach and share insights with team members.

• Complete all necessary licensure requirements and mandated training to maintain professional standing and efficacy in your role.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Kinetic, you will focus on a diverse clientele, ranging from children and adolescents to adults, many of whom deal with challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. You will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, offering support through tailored therapeutic interventions, group therapy options, and family-oriented approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado.
