Working in a fully remote setting, this position allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while being part of a thriving community health clinic environment. Our remote workplace fosters flexibility, enabling you to manage your schedule from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients and their families, developing tailored treatment plans that address unique challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide one-on-one counseling through telehealth platforms, assisting clients in navigating their mental health conditions.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to formulate comprehensive care strategies for clients, leading to improved patient outcomes.
\n
• Document thorough clinical notes including patient medical histories, assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress updates in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Implement crisis interventions when necessary, demonstrating expertise in handling issues related to substance abuse, domestic violence, trauma, and other related challenges.

• Facilitate education sessions for team members to discuss clients’ psychosocial stressors, enhancing team coordination and client care delivery.

• Continuously engage in professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on a diverse client base, including families facing complex challenges such as addiction, trauma, domestic violence, and various mental health conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs and promote positive therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must possess valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.

• Demonstrated experience in providing quality counseling services to a diverse clientele, ideally within a telehealth setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in crisis intervention and management.

• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and digital documentation systems.

• Experience working in a community mental health clinic or similar setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
