As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor working remotely, you’ll have the flexibility to manage your schedule while collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals. Our work facility operates as a community health clinic, ensuring that technology and systems to support remote counseling are in place. You’ll enjoy a minimal paperwork environment, allowing you to focus more on your clients and less on administrative tasks, with a complete caseload often established within a week of joining.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive clinical services to clients, which includes developing and implementing tailored, recovery-focused treatment plans.

• Continuously assessing client treatment needs and adapting interventions as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
\n
• Assisting in the evaluation and formulation of individual service plans, ensuring they are aligned with each client’s recovery goals.
\n
• Empowering clients by helping them develop essential coping, problem-solving, and communication skills necessary for daily life.
\n
• Actively educating clients about available community resources and passionately advocating to connect them with these services.
\n
• Facilitating skill-building activities, with an emphasis on daily living, emotional regulation, and leisure time interests.

• Monitoring client symptoms and effectively managing interventions to support emotional and psychological well-being.
\n
• Ensuring client confidentiality and creating a safe and supportive environment for all clients.

• Providing aftercare planning and closure, assisting clients in transitioning to independent community living.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus on serving individuals 18 years and older who experience mental health challenges affecting their ability to maintain independence and community stability. Our diverse client population may face a variety of issues, enabling you to employ a broad spectrum of therapeutic techniques to foster recovery and social engagement.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current state license from the relevant state board, which may include: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
\n
• Ability to practice independently without requiring supervision.
\n
• No disciplinary actions against your professional license.
\n
• Proven experience delivering direct clinical services to clients in a similar capacity.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine empathy for clients seeking care.
\n
• Strong technological proficiency to facilitate remote counseling, paired with a reliable Wi-Fi connection.
