Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health through video sessions, gathering relevant history and presenting issues, including conditions such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Develop tailored plans of therapy and treatment that are responsive to each client's individual needs, integrating evidence-based methods and therapeutic frameworks.

• Maintain regular engagement with clients via scheduled sessions, providing them with tools and strategies to cope with their mental health challenges and encouraging progress towards their therapeutic goals.

• Create and implement therapeutic interventions that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and other modalities appropriate to the client’s needs.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other health professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive support.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation within our EHR system, honoring patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse client population, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges. Clients may include individuals dealing with acute and chronic conditions such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. Cultural competence is essential, as successful treatment relies on understanding and respecting the diverse backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in New Jersey as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW).

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling or related fields.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders and treatment modalities, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, demonstrating the ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
